Some useful starting points for your consultation.
Ask another question ↗A clinician needs to assess the cause of your hair loss, your health and the available donor hair. An online enquiry can start the conversation, but it cannot replace a clinical examination.
FUE describes how follicular units are collected. DHI is commonly used to describe an implantation approach using an implanter. Ask how each stage of your proposed procedure would be performed.
Hair growth is gradual. Early shedding can occur and visible change develops over months. The overall result may continue to mature for a year or longer; your clinician should explain a realistic timeline.
Ask for a written plan that explains the procedure, the clinical provider, what is included and any additional follow-up costs. A graft count or price alone does not describe the quality or suitability of care.
Build your itinerary around your clinician’s instructions. Rest, follow-up visits and fitness to travel take priority over sightseeing, swimming and strenuous activity.
Make space for the questions that matter to you before deciding on a procedure.
